Volunteering
We are currently accepting volunteers. You must schedule your Volunteer Day ahead of time using the form on this page. If you have never been to the sanctuary, you may want to schedule a tour (click the “Visit” button) before coming for a work day.
In your email, please include:
Full address and phone number
Day(s)/time(s) you are available
The number of people including yourself that will be coming
List any physical restrictions or allergies that may affect any participant’s ability to volunteer
Name and phone number of an emergency contact
If fulfilling community service hours, please explain and indicate the number of hours needed
We always have plenty of work to do at Ironwood from preparing for seasonal changes to adding shelters to accommodate new arrivals.
Some things our volunteers help with:
cleaning up
helping with daily chores
watering
doing repairs
socializing our pigs!
Come out to Ironwood and get to know us and our pigs.
